Went to sell my rings, and was met with impatient, condescending attitude. She literally said "You have nothing here" and threw it on the plate. If you're not made of money, apparently you shouldn't even walk in the door. Only reason I'm giving 2 instead of 1 is because she seemed knowledgeable.
Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. The owner has 30 years of experience and is honest and trustworthy. Brought my gold there and got more than I thought it was worth. So worth the trip! Why deal with all those odd pawn shops when you can deal with direct with the owner? Small town feel, big town knowledge. Go there with confidence!

I do remember your visit to my store and I agree that when you came in I had been working on another custom piece for a customer and it took me a moment to locate my equipment to appraise your diamond. I stand by my appraisal. EGL did not appraise the diamond correctly. Your diamond is definitely I2 and the color is one of the lowest on the color chart. Also it is Euro cut which makes it undesirable. There were so many cleavages inside the gem that it would be risky to recut, which I explained to you. I also showed you the Rapaport price and how the pricing works. It's unfortunate that diamond appraisers inflate the dollar value of a diamond when clearly it is not worth anywhere near that price. I did explain to you that I was not interested in your diamond and if I did make an offer it would only be for $1200 because I did not think I would be able to move the diamond. I'm sorry you feel I scammed you, that was never my intent. Please feel free to stop in anytime or call and we can discuss other ways for you to sell your diamond .

I called Lucente Jewelers the day before I came into the store and asked if they buy diamonds. The lady then responded with yes we do but you need to come in and ask for the owner the owner cause I'm the only one that handles that here. So I came into the store on Saturday the following day and she was the only person there anyways. She was very unorganized and was looking for all of her tools to look at the diamond scattering things all over the counter. She then said that my diamond was only worth $1,200 dollars and my 1.85 round cut EGL Certified diamond with a grading of SI2 and I to J color was completely wrong and there appraised value of $19,700 was no where near the right number. So I said that the appraisal of the diamond is nearly 18,500 dollars off? Well she knew she was low balling me by the look on her face. I was appreciative of her offer but I was not born yesterday. I would much rather her say she is not interested than to try and steal a ring at such a low price. This in my opinion is not a very honest place to sell your jewelry. I would stay away if I were you.
